Salt Soaking, Hot Bathing
Hot bathing is a good way for relaxation, unwind your body and mind....
Adding Epsom salt, the amount suggested on the package, usually one or two cup, or the amount recommended by your doctor, would also help
- Arthritis pain and swelling
- Bruises and sprain
- Fibromyalgia, a condition that makes your muscles, ligaments, and tendons hurts, and causes tender points throughout your body
- Ingrown toenails
- Insomnia
- Psoriasis, a disease that causes red, itchy, scaly skin
- Sore muscles after working out
- Soreness from diarrhea during chemotherapy
- Sunburn pain and redness
- Tired, swollen feet
- Spiritual cleansing
Warming up your body in the hot water would make more blood circulation and lymphatic flow, burning fat, improve immunity as well.
After the salt hot bathing, cool down a little bit, but don't overcool your body, especially cold season.
Hot bathing before athletic activities would not help your performance, because too much energy consuming and not properly warmed up your body, could cooling down your body suddenly.
Although, we recommend foot bath before athletic activities especially in cold season. Adding a couple of spoon of salt to the foot bath tub, it would help warm up your body, increasing blood circulation and reducing injuries especially for foot, Achilles’ tendon, legs and knees.
