Honey goat weed
Honey goat weed (epimedium) has been renowned in China for thousands of years, as a yang-supporting herb for use by both men and women. Shen-nong's Herbal Classics, compiled around 400 A.D., historical Chinese text on herbalism and medicine discusses its use. The Chinese call epimedium Yin Yang Huo (Chinese: 淫羊藿), which literally translates to horny goat weed. The blend of horny goat weed and other synergistic and revered Chinese herbs, including astragalus, fo-ti, eucommia leaf and licorice root. They are considered as healthy herbs, nourishing, sustaining and building the Qi (vital force).
