17-year-old Juju Noda participated in the Super Formula joint/Rookie Driver Test, Japanese Top Formula Category

Juju, a 17 YO female fomula car racing driver who participated in the Japan's top category, Super Fomula joint test/Rookie Driver's test from TGM Grand Prix, expressed gratitude for the fans' support. She mentioned that not having enough time for sufficient interaction with fans was a "regret." The Super Formula joint test/Rookie Driver Test in 2023 garnered significant attention, especially with the participation of 17-year-old Juju, contributing greatly to the series' visibility. Although she ended up at the bottom on the first day, she progressively improved her lap times, setting a personal best of 1 min 41 sec '219 in the afternoon session. Despite being 4.225 seconds behind the fastest time set by Sho Tsuboi (VANTELIN TEAM TOM’S), she proved her ability to qualify for the race, even on the very first time at the Suzuka Circuit and with a first time Super Formula racing car even while the seat position was not fit well. On the second day, she further reduced her time to 1 min 38 sec '529, demonstrated adaptability and significant potential. However, Juju expressed a sense of "apology" for not being able to spend time interacting with all the fans who came to the circuit. "I want to convey something urgently," Juju posted on social media. "Thank you to everyone who came to support me at the Suzuka Super Formula test run, waiting for photos and signatures. Honestly, I never imagined so many people would come." "Thank you so, so much." "What I want to convey is that despite receiving courage and energy from everyone's support, I wasn't able to meet everyone's requests, and I think I disappointed quite a few. That is truly regrettable." "In addition to my first Super Formula challenge, it was my first time at the Suzuka Circuit and with a new team. Due to interviews and discussions with officials, I couldn't even take meals, and the schedule was minimal, focusing on the race." "I believe there will be an opportunity to interact with everyone someday. At that time, I will do my best, so I hope you can understand. If this message reaches those who couldn't get a signature or a photo, I would be grateful if even a little apology is conveyed." "Feeling the support from so many people, I truly realized that I gained the courage to take on this big challenge. Thank you very much."
